The study was conducted from May 2018 to April 2019 and was focused on developing an application for Filipino people to preserve the Filipino cuisines. This is also to familiarize Filipino to different heritage dishes of the Philippines and for other countries to learn on how to cook the Philippine native dishes. In this study, the researchers able to meet the objective of the research which is to develop an application capable of guiding and providing a proper way on how to cook heritage dishes.
The researcher used the unified Model as the basis to develop the application. The Unified Model is a Methodology designed to develop an application for first and accurate format. The researcher used this model since its focus on the exchange of ideas and message taking place to both user and the application.
The results of the statistical analysis of data revealed that the application was helpful and effective to the people want to learn how to cook native dishes. The users appreciated the application because it can explain the step by step process of how to cook native dishes of each recipe and have a trivia about the recipe they pick. The application is user-friendly, easy to understand and very useful to the people who like cooking and other people want to learn how to cook native dishes of the Philippines.
