The project was named VEGGIERON. Polvoron were the main product with some flavors (squash, malunggay and carrot). This partnership type of business was managed by Paulo John M. Soro, Renelyn F. Loreto, Juanida A. Mag-atas. Production was held at Amaya I, Tanza, Cavite.
The proponent's starting capital was equally shared to finance the project. A starting capital of Php. 6,000.00 was used for the purchased of raw materials, tools and equipment.
The main objective of the project was to apply the proponents' knowledge and skills about marketing a product. Specifically, it aimed to: 1) Determine salable variants of the product being offered; 2) Offer a product suitable to the entrepreneurs and it's market; 3) Be aware of the possible risks and failure of the project; and 4) Ensure that the business will yield profit during the entire duration of the project.
The problems encountered were lack of financial capability of one of proponent and the marketing strategies used in promoting and selling the product to customer. The insight gain in the duration of the project was to how to manage a business, and how to make decision for the business. After the project has been conducted, the participants decided to continue their business as long as demand is still good. They also want to offer into a larger market if opportunity will come. The Gross Profit Margin of the project was 78.92%, the net Profit Margin was 32.06%, the return on assets was 25.72%, the return on sales was 32.06%, and the return of investment was 34.62%.
