The general objectives of the study were to assess the employability skills of the BSBM graduates. Specifically, determine the profile of graduates in terms of: year of graduation, age, gender, and civil status; job after graduation; present employment; reasons if unemployed; employment status; position; use a self-assessment tool to determine the level of employability skills of the respondents, which are essential to obtain and maintain a job using a self-assessment tool in terms of communication. teamwork, problem solving, initiative, planning and organizing, self-management, learning skills, technological skills, and others. Determine the extent of the curricular program's contribution to the development of the graduates' skills in terms of communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative, planning and organizing. self-management, learning skills, and technological skills. In addition, determine the perception of the respondents regarding the importance of employability skills in preparing for the job market.
This research study focused on the employability skills of the BSBM graduates as the basis for curriculum enhancement. There are 172 graduates of Cavite State University-CCAT Campus among the participants who answered the survey questionnaire. The study was conducted at Cavite State University-CCAT Campus, Rosario Cavite, starting from January 10, 2022, up to February 20, 2022. The proponents utilize self-administered questionnaires to gather the data needed in the study.
