This study aimed to determine the challenges and coping mechanisms of Jeepney drivers in General Trias, Cavite during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This study was conducted in the municipality of General Trias,Cavite from March to January2021-2022.
This study employed a descriptive approach in conducting the study where as online surveys through google form questionnaires were used as the research instrument in gathering data, this method was utilized as this is the most convenient and accessible during this time. The sample size of the study involved 30 Jeepney drivers in General Trias, Cavite who are currently operating in any routes and vice versa around General Trias, Cavite during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The result of the study may provide awareness and better knowledge to Jeepney drivers with regards to the possible challenges they may face during the pandemic, on the other hand, this study may also provide a guide with regards to the coping mechanisms they can employ to cope in this time of crisis. Towards determining the challenges faced by Jeepney drivers, the researcher was able to recommend strategies towards addressing the challenges faced by Jeepney drivers during theCOVID-19 Pandemic at the end of the study.
