The COVID-19 outbreak becomes the worst nightmare which affect different aspects of individuals life. One of the affected industry is the fashion retail stores, they experience a downfall and had to do or implement strategies to cope up with this kind of challenge. The researchers aimed to determine the challenges and coping mechanism of clothing depots in selected municipality of Cavite. The objectives of the study is to determine the demographic profile of the business in terms of name of business, location of business, years in operation, and average monthly sales. The researchers also aimed to determine the challenges faced by the clothing depot owners during pandemic and their coping mechanism in terms of product, place price, and promotion. Lastly, the researchers formulated strategies to cope up with the challenges faced by the owners of clothing depots. The study used descriptive method where online survey questionnaire through Google Form and was used as a primary instrument in gathering data. The showed that majority of the respondents are operating from 0-1 year in the fashion retail. industry and have an average monthly sales from 20,00- 40,000 pesos. In terms of challenges of clothing depots, promoting new clothing brand in the middle of pandemic, decreasing of customers because of pandemics, sudden increase in price of raw materials and online marketing got the highest percentage. Lastly, regarding the coping mechanism, the most effective strategies according to the respondents are providing discounts when someone bought bulk amount of products, providing delivery services and advertising the products in social medias.
