The study was conducted from January 21 - September 2022 to develop a web-based application for the Instructions Unit of Cavite State University - CCAT Campus. The general objective of the study is to provide assistance to operation. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the of the website according to the needs of the DI office and its faculty members; 2) develop the website based on the specifications set by the ODI; 3) test the website based on usability, effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction and context coverage; and 4) implement the application online.
The developers used a system development model called Rapid Application Development as their guide in the construction of the application. After the completion of the development, it was subjected to end-user evaluation. The website was evaluated using the adapted ISO 25010 website evaluation tool for end user. It was composed of the following criteria: usability, effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction and context coverage. The system was evaluated by 15 participants, composed of five IT experts as web developers, three DI staff and seven faculty members as the end users. The DI office Site gained a total score of 4.57 for the evaluation of end users which suggests an outstanding performance and characteristics.
