The primary objective of the project was to develop an alternating current generator trainer with a complete reading of load device. The project was an innovative device for the instructional and learning activities of SMT-85 Electro Technology.
Specially, this study aimed to: (1) design a complete set of alternating current generator trainer (2) construct a alternating current generator trainer with a complete reading of load device and other accessories (3) evaluate the performance of the trainer according to their load with time consumed and safety of the trainer.

This was conducted at Cavite State University-Rosario Campus from June 2015 to February 2016

Mechanics, professor, students and other allied course were the beneficiaries of the developed prototype.

The process used in constructing the device was bench work including grinding, drilling and machining.

The collected data were tabulated, getting the mean of the different trials used in the development of the project. Data were analysed using collected data.

The finding of the study based on the results of the evaluation of the trainer was acceptable to the standard of the generator used for the project. It takes 90 minutes to properly know the reading of the load of the generator. The reading of the load, frequency and kilowatts achieved the acceptable standard of generator could produce. Voltage and frequency of the trainer can be read without load, if there was load, the power rating for ampere could be read and voltage decreased. If the ampere get higher, the frequency, voltage and engine speed decreases. It takes 15 hours to properly known the acceptable reading of the load of the generator. The trainer can be used for the instructional and manual activities of the subject SMT-85 Electro Technology. The total cost of the alternating current generator trainer was PHP. 17,198.00

The study related that the alternating current generator trainer was technically feasible due to the fact that its design and structure were trouble free while facilities and manpower are available. It was made out of local materials.
